如何查看 Linux 发行版软件包的源代码

我最近在学习 Linux 系统编程，为了搞明白 Linux 系统远程登录的技术细节，我想找到 telnet 客户端和服务器端相关源代码来阅读。搜索一番之后，虽然找到了 Go 或 Java 版本的 telnet，但我更想看 C 版本的代码。于是，我想：为什么不下载 Linux 发行版中 telnet 软件包的源代码来看呢？

CentOS

首先，Linux 发行版我一般是使用 CentOS 系统的，但搜索一番之后没找到 CentOS 系统上下载软件包源代码的方法，只是找到相关软件包的一些在线文档地址，即下面的 URL：

Ubuntu

CentOS 系统上没找到源代码，只能来试试 Ubuntu 系统了。

没想到，Ubuntu 系统是可以的。

安装 apt-src

sudo apt-get install apt-src

配置 apt-src 仓库地址

我使用的是腾讯云服务器，只需把第四行取消注释即可：

下载 telnet 客户端/服务器端源代码

sudo apt-src install telnetd

接下来，就是愉快地阅读 telnet 相关源代码了！

Ubuntu Manuals

除了使用 apt-src 工具，还可以从 Ubuntu Manuals 按图索骥找到软件包的源代码的，下面就以 telnetd 为例说明具体如何操作：

  1. 打开 Ubuntu Manuals，并选择对应的系统版本；
  2. 因为 man1 是终端命令的文档，所以打开 man1；
  3. 页面上搜索 telnet 即可找到 inetutils-telnet；
  4. 点击 Provided by；
  5. 点击 Source package，即可看到该软件包的在线仓库地址啦，可以直接克隆源代码到本地；
